Due to needs associated with COVID-19, we are currently only accepting donations during normal business hours that have been scheduled so staff is aware of you coming. Please reach out to Deb to schedule a donation.

Items We Cannot Accept

It's hard to say no to a donation, however, we have partnered with other community resources to connect donors with an agency that can best use these items we can't take. Please view our list, and consider donating them to another community resource listed.

Used/opened car seats: safety issues with recalls and liability insurance requirements.

Queen or king-size bedding: we only have twin-size mattresses at the shelter. Bring to Charitable Union.

Clothing, shoes, purses, etc: due to lack of storage space. Bring to Charitable Union.

Expired Food: we don't cook for residents, so can't check for safety/quality on unopened foods after best by date. Bring to The Fire hub and/or Share Center.

Space Heaters: safety issues. Bring to Charitable Union.
